Schedule a Memorial Meal
A Memorial Meal provides donor families a hands-on opportunity to experience our work with people in our community who are hurting, while we honor the legacy of their loved one and their support for our mission.
Memorial Meals are held at our Hope Café ministry center located at 1310 6th Ave., where we provide three free meals every day of the year to hundreds of homeless and hungry men, women and children from the community.
A special dedication proclamation is announced along with a prayer honoring their life. In addition, a framed photo dedication certificate is displayed prominently for our shelter and community meal guests to see as they pass through the serving line.
Family participants are invited (but not required) to volunteer and assist in serving the meal, desserts and beverages and then have the privilege of participating in ministry of fellowship as they sit and share meal-time alongside some of our community meal guests.
A photo is taken of the family and the photo certificate is given to the family as a remembrance of the occasion.
A tour of the adjacent Bethel Mission emergency shelter is optional.
Memorial Meals can be scheduled and reserved Monday through Saturday during the following times:
Mid-Day Meal Time: 11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.
Evening Meal Time: 4:00 – 6:00 p.m.
